Pandit Mange Ram (1906–1967) was the most prominent direct disciple of Pandit Lakhmi Chand. An extraordinary performer with a rich baritone voice, he preserved and expanded the Saang tradition with literary adaptations including 'Krishnaleela' and 'Nala Damyanti'.
